So who is in charge here... you or someone else?
Have you ever worked as hard as you did during that Biology class?
Have pulled more "all nighters" than you did before... because you had to complete that "project" on time?
Have you ever given more to a "worthwhile cause" than you did before... with out someone having to "push you" to do so?
Why do you need "ice buckets" and "galas" to incite you to donate to causes?
Have you come to "think"... along the way... that you "need" that "external motivation" to do something to make a "difference"... to be "generous" and it is the "key" to your "success?"
That you need to be part of a "degree program"... or be in a "competitive contest"... or have a "boss" looking over your shoulder to do your "best work"... that you have to be "pushed forward."
Of course... you are taught this by the marketers... politicians... industrialists... priests... gurus and institutions that make a "living" by providing you with "external motivation"... which can be "helpful" to a degree... yet it is limited in its "effect" without your own "internal motivational fire!"
You DO IT because YOU WANT TO DO IT... to GIVE and DO MORE... as it is YOU who is really IN CHARGE of YOU!
If you "accept" the bargain of "doing work on demand"... you have just "handed" your "future" over to someone else... you have "committed" your "best work" to the "highest bidder" and to the person with proximity and leverage... who will gain all the "benefits" from the work you do for them!
Yet as the World "decentralizes" and more of us work with "less supervision"... and more "upside" when you find and walk “your own path”... your "reliance" on the "external motivation" fails you... because you have not before had to take the "responsibility" and be "in charge" of yourself... and be the "value" in "creating" your own life.
It is the men and women who come from the "internal fire" of "motivation" and "creativity"... who are "responsible" and "in charge" of themselves... who hold the "advantage"... and gain the "benefits" of “investing” in their "own work"... and “creating” their own "value" in "giving" and "doing more"... while living their own Dynamic Life!
