Sure 99% Has Been Done Before

Do you fear that you are doing something that has already been done before... that everything that can be done has been done?
Just about every successful initiative and project starts from a place of replication... it is usual “improving on”... or doing it better... the opportunities of being fundamentally out of the box over the top original are close to being zero... not unless you work in a very highly specialised niche will something “new” and original be developed.
A better question to ask is...
"Have you ever done this before?"
Or perhaps...
"Are the people you are seeking to serve going to be bored by this... or find it “useful?"
Originality is usually at the local level... when things become national and international... originality is lost.
The internet most certainly destroys at some level... the idea of local and originality for sure... when you look hard enough... you will find that turn of a phrase or that unique concept or that app... is being done somewhere else.
And no one is asking you to be original... others are asking you to be generous and brave and to matter... to step up and take responsibility for the work you do... and to add more value than a mere cut and paste... or a copy of something else.
By being “different”... you can can be “original” in “connecting” with others who want to be “different” too.
Sure... 99% of what is being done... has been done before.
And not by you in your “different way.”
As for us?
What you do in your “different way”... maybe totally “original!”
