Stop Wondering... It Puts The Nails In Your Coffin.

It is amazing how much a world class jazz musician can teach you about being spontaneous and in the moment.
A Friend of mine who is just an excellent Jazz player said to me...
"If you mess up or play the wrong note, to hell with it! It's done man, you can't go back to that. The river keeps flowing. Stay in the present!"
He also mentioned...
"In a spontaneous art form, how you think is EVERYTHING!"
And if you do not think meeting men and women is a spontaneous art form, try memorizing an entire "meeting members of the opposite sex book" and go out and see how much you actually use.
A lot of men and women try to go back and fix their mistakes in their meetings with the opposite sex.
They will be thinking about what they said 30 seconds ago... wondering if it was good or not...
"Was that an attractive thing to say?"
"Did I just blow it?"
"What do they think of that?"
Well guess what... it is not what you said two minutes ago that is going to hurt you... it is the mental distraction that is going to put the nails in your coffin!
The next time you say something stupid and you find yourself thinking about ANYTHING that has happened in the past with a men or woman.
STOP.
Get back into the moment immediately and get the job done!
Your triumphant return to the present will pull their attention to the present as well and your carefree focus will negate any "mistakes" you think you may have made.
That is what the "confident" man and woman does.
They know they made the mistake and they know it cannot be undone.
What they do is "learn" from their mistake... so when situation presents it self in the future... they act and handle the situation in a different way.
As my friend mentioned above...
Stay engaged in the present because that is were the REAL action is!
