Is There An App For Dumbness?

It is not the evil of evil doers that is the greatest crime... it is the apathy of those who should be doing good... we live a lie... we allow lies to be carried out in our names everyday... we live in a bubble... we deceive ourselves that somehow life is good. 

While all over the world... humanity is being inhuman to each other... we deceive ourselves that we are doing something... what good are your proxy words of love... which... let us be honest here... you only say to make yourself... "feel good."

While people around the world starve... live in abject poverty... rape... enslave... murder... make war on each other... and Nature is... “consumed”... at a prestigious rate... and getting dangerously close to the time... when Nature can no longer replenish itself... demand is out stripping resources... and we all carry on with the illusion of... “feeling good.”

Is it right that only 20% of the Worlds population consumes 80% of the Worlds resources?

George Orwell's 1984 has been... and gone... where you... "asleep".. when that happened? 

Big Brother is employing an even more dangerous bunch in town... more dangerous then Orwell could have ever envisioned...

The Marketing Tribe.

The acolytes... and gurus of... "consumerism"... the purveyors  of... "illusions"... the weavers of dreams for you to... "buy"... into... all for a price of course... you pay with easy credit... being effective enslaved to your addictions... and they profit with big fat bank accounts... and gold stocks.

Out with the old boss... in with the new boss... all that has changed is the cut of the cloth... out with the robes... dog colliers... and turbans... in with the Armini suites.

They are the ... "High Priests"... of Consumer Capitalism!

Preaching the virtues of credit at the high alter of monetarism.

They... KNOW ... more about you... then you know about yourself.

They... "know"... how to make you... "feel good"... getting you... "addicted"... to want more... by playing on your... "fears"... and... "insecurities."

They are the... "Master"... manipulators of your emotions... psychology... and...  "inviting"... you to consume more... the salesman... and women are their... “Storm Troupers”... inviting you to... “sign here.”

And... “Big Brother” is smiling sweetly in his tropical... “island heaven” … the Marketing Tribe are earning their pay.

Yet... there is a REAL HUGE problem fast approaching humanity... one that involves us all.

All this... "feel good"... consuming built  on credit... debt... never reckoned on the biggest supplier of all calling in it's ... "dues."

The EARTH... Nature!

And the... "message"... is very simply... which no... "guru marketeer"... wants to hear... or you to even KNOW about.

GLOBAL WARMING... CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOW A REALITY... NATURE IS CHANGING THE RULES!

So we better STOP consuming ... and assuming... that the... “magic”... factory will always provide... Nature is sending it's... "warnings"... and changing the game.

Conservation... and stewardship is the way ahead.

We better start... "re learning”... fast the art of … “conserving"... and... “sustainability”... because to carry on the rate we are... "consuming"... OUR HOME... is like watching a blind snake eating its own body... until only the head is left... and there will be nothing else to... “consume”... on.

And that will not be a very... "feel good"... day at the... “magic”... factory!

The... "realisation"... that we have... "consumed"... the very planet that sustains us... and that  there will not be a next... "feel good"... day for humanity!

We will have... "consumed"... ourselves out of existence... and for a so called... "intelligent species"... that is a very... "dumb"... move.  

We will have the dubious honour of being the first species that has existed on this planet... that... “consumed”... itself... KNOWINGLY into EXTINTION.

And we cannot say we have not had warnings.

We now know... and understand through Scientific research what happened to the civilisation that once existed on... “Easter Island.”

They... “consumed”... their way into extinction.

That was an island... just ONE example... there have been others... we are now doing... “industrial consumerism”... better... faster... and more effectively on a Global scale.

The FACT is... will we... “understand”... even faster... that Science is reading... and beginning to understand the terms of the NEW contract... and that Nature is only offering us two options in the deal.

CHANGE your ways to continue to exist on this planet... or DIE as a species?

And we have not even got to the small print yet!

Still there is always the... “apps”... on your Iphone to play... and have a ... “feel good”... day!

The marketing gurus say so... and Big Brother says... “everything is a'ok.”

And hey... what do I know... I am just a human... who practices Psychology... with a great interest in Evironmental Science... and can write!

Flickering screen... the TV is on.
