How to Deal More Effectively With Stress

Research from the field of Neuroscience... shows that "exercise" really does combat the ill effects of "stress" in your life

Most people have an "understanding" that "exercise" can "improve" your "well being"... and it is recently that scientists have understood how using exercise to combat stress works... this research is of enormous importance to men and women who constantly experience "stress" at work and in their everyday life.

According to the research... "exercising" causes your muscles to release a set of chemicals that block other chemicals the body releases in response to frequent stress... in other words... "constant stress" brings you down... and in its most serve form... leads to depression... and "consistent exercise"... combats this effect and lifts you up... now this understand of the link between stress... "depression"... and "exercise" is not new... what is new is "understanding" the "biochemistry" of "how the body works."

So in effect by using one part of the "brain" that is stimulated by "exercise"... the brain can neutralise the effects of "stress" produced by another part of the "brain"... in effect you are "using the brain... to heal the brain."

Many "successful" men and women are famous for their ability to handle the "stress" and pressures of an “intense” lifestyle... there is also plenty of men and women who would like to be more "successful"... and lack the "motivation" to go the “extra mile" because they are unable to tolerate the extra "stress" to... "succeed."

When you "exercise" regularly... you can actually increase the amount of "stress" that you can tolerate without "feeling" its ill effects... put it this way... when you work out a lot... you can work a lot harder... for longer... and making changes in your daily routine can also release "stress reducing chemicals." 

For example...

Take the stairs rather than the elevator... this not only helps you beat stress... it will increase your personal fitness level. 

Stand while you are working... standing burns a surprising number of calories and therefore releases those stress relieving chemicals... as an added benefit... standing is better for your back than sitting.

Walk or use a bike instead of using the car all the time... not only will this increase you fitness level... it will save you money and the environment.
