How To Become A Dynamic Confident Leader By Using Neuroscience Technology
To Re Educate Your Brian

What was once a fledgling Science has now become a very powerful Science in "understanding" the Brain.

Neuroscience research has shown that far from our neuro network being "fixed" in our brains... it is fluid and elastic... and our brains can be re educated to adopt "new" thinking patterns and behaviours... and I make extensive use of "neuro technology" in the Psycho Dynamic Couching process when working with clients in Dynamic Life Development Systems. 

One of the the "higher" skills Dynamic Lifers learn... is to become a Master Persuader and Influencer... in other words... a Leader who possess "solid trust" in themselves and Dynamic Confidence... to inspire and empower people to follow where you lead.
Now... almost all theories of leadership boil down to a single question... 

"How can I inspire and motivate people to willingly follow me?" 

The existing conventional wisdom... almost always answered... 

"Use this combination of carrots and sticks."

Following the principal of "pain and pleasure."

Yet what if this basic reward... threat principle is wrong? 

What if the motivation to follow a leader comes from some place else entirely? 

Well... the research is showing that the core of issue of leadership is not about carrots and sticks... it is about certainty...

What I have been calling for some years now... Dynamic Confidence!

As Jon Pratlett points out in one of his recent neuroscience newsletters:

"A sense of certainty releases chemicals in the brain, like serotonin and dopamine, that create positive feelings of security and anticipation. Uncertainty, on the other hand, releases norepinephrine and cortisol, leading to a threat response.

In other words, it's not the carrot or the stick that causes people to follow a leader; it's whether they feel certain they will achieve what the leader says they'll achieve.

Therefore, to lead effectively, the correct question to ask yourself is: "How do I create a sense of certainty in other people?"

Humans have what are called "mirror neurons" in nearly every part of the brain... the premotor cortex... the supplementary motor area... the primary somatosensory cortex... and the inferior parietal cortex.

Mirror neurons cause people to imitate the behaviours they see in others... so it follows that to create certainty in others you must first create certainty in yourself... develop "solid trust" in yourself and display DYNAMIC confidence in what YOU do.

This is why great leaders always seem so self-confident... self assured and "charismatic!" 

That Dynamic Confidence is the outward manifestation of the sense of certainty... the solid "trust"... that they have created within themselves... a certainty that "attracts" and "empowers" and "motivates" everyone around them.

In other words the HALO EFFECT that others desire and want to be a part of.

The best example of this phenomenon is the "reality distortion field" that Steve Jobs generated every time he presented a new Apple product. 

Jobs expressed and obviously felt such absolute certainty about his products that everyone around him also thought that they were "insanely great."

Steve Jobs created that "certainty" in others because he had "total trust" in himself.

So... the true challenge of leadership is not about other people at all... it is about something more "individual" to you... 

"How do I create that compelling sense of certainty and absolute "trust" within myself?"

Using a set of relatively simple techniques... you can "re educate" your brain so that when you make an important decision... you create an overwhelming and infectious sense of certainty and "trust" within yourself that your outcome is inevitable... you WILL acquire your goals and complete your projects... and others will look to you as the man or woman... who "gets things done."

Here Is The Basic Techniques Of How It Is Done...

1... Use Your Uncertainty In a Positive Way...

It may seem strange... that here I am sharing with you about certainty...then to point out that uncertainty has value... doubt has "value"... before you make any important decision... there is always a natural period of uncertainty while you ask "questions" gathering advice and weighing alternatives... use this time wisely and well... because once you have made your decision... the "focus" of what you want to acquire... those alternatives will literally not exist. 

To avoid "analysis paralysis" commit to making a decision by an unmovable deadline.

2... Make Your Decision Final...

Decisions are not like buying clothes... you cannot try one outfit... check it out in the mirror... and then try on another. 

For a decision to create certainty in yourself and in others... the decision you make must be singular and final. 

The Latin root for decide means "to cut off"... to decide is to cut off uncertainty... debate... regrets... and alternative outcomes... the more completely that you cut away this useless excess... the more powerful your certainty will become.

3... Imagine A Detailed And Vivid Outcome...

Here is where you start to "re educate" your brain. 

Close your eyes and picture the outcome that your decision will create... from a 3rd person perspective... use your imagination like a 3 D Omni theatre... full colour... surround sound... imagine how the success sounds... imagine how the success feels... imagine how it tastes and smells... make it so real that you feel throughout your entire body and that you success has arrived... that you are in the I AM state and that it is better than you previously imagined.

4... Put Your Outcome In The Past...

As you experience the "emotional... physiological... psychological" fullness of the successful outcome... imagine as strongly as you are able that everything you have just experienced... the WIN of your success... has already happened. 

You and if you work with others... your team have already won... the successful outcome is a done deal... repeat steps 3 and 4 daily until your brain automatically treats the outcome you seek as a foregone conclusion... you will have trained your brain into that mode of thinking... so your physical behaviours and actions will be automatic... so making you acquiring your goals a successful conclusion.

Because you have "absolute" certainty and "trust" in yourself... you will "make it happen" and "get it done."

This rewiring method works because of something called "neuroplasticity"... while the rational... conscious part of your brain can differentiate between what you imagine and what is in the physical world... the sub conscious parts of your brain cannot. 

So... when you consciously create a vivid memory of an event that has not happened yet... you create throughout the majority of your brain the same sense of certainty you have about past events that you have actually experienced... this is called Outcome Based Thinking... you KNOW you WILL acquire what you set out to do.

How do I know this method works? 

Simple... like everything in Dynamic Life Development Systems... I try everything out myself and pull it apart to "understand" how things work in detail...  I have used this method to make every important decision for the past two decades... 

Yes... I am a "leader" and I do have the "trust" of creating the utter certainty of Outcome Based Thinking within myself that I can acquire what I set out to do... even when that outcome... objectively... seems highly unlikely.

For instance... When I started The DYNAMIC Express Magazine as a supplement to Dynamic Life Development Systems for Dynamic Lifers and to share with you my articles... with an audience of exactly zero... I was certain it would become popular... even though I KNOW it will take an investment of my time... and resources... I am working for the WIN WIN.

By creating that absolute "trust" and certainty in myself... I have been able to grow a "readership" that not only "reads" and finds these articles "helpful" and "informative"... my readership engage with me too... because I am certain of knowing what a certain man and woman wants... and that I can deliver what they want.

Now... I KNOW this rewiring process works for myself... and it works for other Dynamic Lifers... imagine how it could work for you... if you are drawn to be a leader who starts new companies...leads teams do the extraordinary... and has personal goals?

Rewiring and "re educating" your brain for certainty... will not only propel you personally towards success... more important... it will also "inspire" and "motivate" your team to "trust" that through your leadership they can "certainly" accomplish what otherwise might seem impossible.
