How do you get to go faster then the competition?

How do you become more efficient without violating the laws of physics?

How do you "invest" your "time...resources" and "money" and reduce "frustration?"

It all comes down to your "decision hygiene"... the "process" you use and the "steps" you take to make your "decisions!"

1... Make Decisions Faster...

You rarely need more "time"... mostly you must merely "choose" to "decide"... the simple test... is more "time" needed to gather useful data... or is more "time" merely a way to postpone the decision?

2... Make Decisions In The Right Order...

Do the "decisions" with the most "resource expenses" and "time consuming" dependencies "get done" first?

Do not ask others to approve the photos once you have hung them in galleries... and do not start driving until you have looked at the map... and "planned" your route.

3... Only Make Decisions Once...

Only "change" your "decision" when new data gives you a "profitable reason" that "benefits" you to "change" your "mind."

4... Do Not Ask Everyone To Help You Decide...

Ask the people who will either "improve" the "decision" and make it "better"... or who have "input" that will make it more likely you will not get "vetoed" and "refused" later.

5... Triage Decisions...

Some "decisions" do not matter... some "decisions" are so unimportant that they are trumped by speed... and only a few "decisions" are worth "focusing" on.

You do not need a consultant or a lot of money to radically "improve" your speed in "decision making."

You will speed up once you are comfortable going faster... and are "confident" in taking "decisions" and being "responsible" for your "choices!"
